Engagement at CWI

Student Affairs will offer a full calendar of remote & virtual events, as well as links to resources to keep you connected to CWI, your student government, and each other. Please check back often, as we will continue to add programs and events throughout the semester.

Send suggestions, feedback, or other ideas to dos@cwi.edu.

Upcoming Events:

Our Virtual Homes:

ZOOM
We are using Zoom for many of our one-on-one meetings, as well as for interactive programming. You can download Zoom on any computer, tablet or phone for free or it can run from any browser without downloading the program first. To attend an event, simply click on the link and it will open the app or browser window. If you download the app, you will also be able to set up your own one-on-one meetings or group meetings with a 40-minute time-limit.

Kahoot!
Kahoot is an on-line quiz and survey platform. To access it, you can navigate to kahoot.it and enter the Game PIN that the game organizer will give you during the event. There are options to download apps if you choose, or you can participate from any browser on any platform or device.

KAST
We will be using KAST for a number of programs and watch-parties. You can download KAST, or run it from you computer web browser. You will need to create an account and join the CWI Watch Party channel before you can join an event. If you are using KAST on a Tablet or Mobile device, email your Username to rco@cwi.edu and we will add you to the party. We have also created a complete list of instructions for getting connected.
