As I begin my journey as College of Western Idaho’s (CWI) third President, I want to share my gratitude and appreciation to each of you for making this such a special place. I am eager to get out across campus to meet each of you – students, faculty, staff, as well as our community members and partners.
CWI is known throughout the Treasure Valley for the tremendous impact it has on students and the communities we serve. I look forward to working together to continue the special work of CWI. CWI transforms lives – offering our community an affordable, high-quality education designed to deliver on the promise of economic and social mobility for all. While the world of higher education evolves and changes, we can always lean on our clear sense of who we are and what we do to guide our future. That is special, and I am excited to join you all in this journey!
I am honored to be part of the CWI community and excited to step boldly into the future!
Board of Trustees
CWI is governed by a volunteer, five-member Board of Trustees. Trustees are elected at-large from within Ada and Canyon counties for staggered, four-year terms and derive their authority from and hold office in accordance with State of Idaho Code.
President’s Cabinet plays an integral role in assisting the President to implement the strategic plans and policies of the Board of Trustees. Each member of the President’s Cabinet is appointed by the Board of Trustees to positions within the College.
