These workshops will cover methodologies for enhancing your Blackboard and Office 365 SkillsStudy Skills & Time Management StrategiesListening & Note Taking Techniques, Memory Retention Skills, Study Group Strategies, Exam Preparation-Exam Taking Strategies, and Exam Stress Reduction Techniques. Students enrolled in Onsite, Hybrid, Hyflex, and Online Course Sections are encouraged to attend any of these free workshop sessions. Workshops will be collaborative sessions—so participation will be encouraged! Instructors who provide additional credit for attendance will be notified of participation.

  • Technology Workshops

    Are you a new student who is curious about the computer skills that you will need across campus or a current student who has struggled to use Blackboard, Word, Excel, or your student email in the past? 

    Great news! Tutoring Services will be putting on a series of workshops to help students just like you. No matter what you are studying, these workshops will cover all sorts of important computer skills to have: 

    - Student Email (Outlook) 

    - Calendar (Outlook) 

    - Microsoft Word 

    - Microsoft Excel 

    - Microsoft PowerPoint 

    - Blackboard 

    - MyCWI 

    These programs will be used to communicate with your instructors and advisor, receive and submit assignments, view your grades, enroll in classes, and more throughout your journey at CWI. Whether you are new to using them entirely or just want to brush up on your skills, we encourage you to join us!
