Build your skills through free workshops in the myCommons section of Canvas, covering topics such as:
Browse a wide variety of student-focused resources, including math handouts and videos on study skills.
As part of the Learning Commons, Tutoring Services partners with faculty to help students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and succeed academically. We offer classroom resources, personalized support, and assignment feedback to enhance the student learning experience.

The most important thing to bring to your tutoring session is an openness to work! Other things that help make your time successful are your assignment, any class notes or course texts that pertain to the assignment, and any work you have done so far.
Upon request, Tutoring Services can complete a verification form for you to take to your instructor or email verification directly to your instructor.

Supporting your academic success is important to us, and showing up to scheduled sessions is a big part of being here for you. If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, we understand — just make sure you let us know so we can still help fellow students.
If you need to cancel a session, complete one of the following:
Students who miss three (3) or more scheduled sessions in one semester without cancelling it in advance will have a restriction placed on their Upswing account.
