About me:
My name is Oster Hernandez, and I am currently employed at the College of Western Idaho as a Career & Technical Education (CTE) Senior Transition Coordinator in the Dual Credit office. I am originally from Lamont, CA but have been in Idaho since February 1994. I have three down to earth kids and five amazing grandchildren. I am a nontraditional student who started my college experience at the age of 35, and since then I have earned my Master’s degree in HRD from Idaho State University. I have an attitude of “Let’s make it happen”! I love to motivate and help people from all backgrounds find their “Why” or sense of purpose through education. I had no clue what I wanted to do at first, but now I have found my path and desire for helping others achieve academic and career success. I also love sound! So, when I am not helping people get educated, I am helping them create unforgettable experiences through the sound of music as a deejay!
