Nicholas (Nick) has been working with and for Idahoans with disabilities for over 18 years, beginning his career as a peer tutor for students with disabilities in high school. A freshman core discovery class at the University of Idaho (“What is ‘Normal’, Anyways?”) exposed him to the world of disability studies and led him to an internship with the Idaho Center on Disabilities and Human Development (CDHD). After graduation he continued working for the CDHD under state and federal grant funded projects like Autism Supports, the Idaho Project for Children and Youth with Deaf-Blindness, Idaho Special Education Support and Technical Assistance (SESTA), and IdahoSTARS childcare resource and referral. In 2018 Nick accepted a position with the Idaho Assistive Technology Project where he honed his skills and knowledge of assistive technology, digital accessibility, and universal design; expertise he hopes will be valuable in his position with CWI.

Nick grew up and still lives in Star, Idaho with his wife, 2 sons, yellow lab, and orange tabby. He enjoys duck and goose hunting, all forms of fishing, stand up paddle board adventures, and family game nights.
