I support the students attending the College of Western Idaho (CWI) by providing comprehensive coaching in all scenarios that may arise during their college career. I can provide information about the various programs available to you and provide you with tailored one-on-one coaching to ensure you are able to maximize your growth during your tenure at CWI.
Biography
Nate Jansen grew up overseas in Malawi, Africa and moved to the Boise area in 2011 to attend Boise State University, where he earned his B.A. in Philosophy, became a club leader, served as a Resident Assistant in the dorms, and fell in love with the full college experience. Having had to adjust to college life and life back in the United States at the same time, he is no stranger to the feeling of being unfamiliar with college culture, as well the immense fulfillment that comes from growing into his new collegiate surroundings. He has called Nampa his home since 2014 and has been working in higher education since 2016 at various Idaho institutions, in roles ranging from admissions recruitment, to academic advising, and now to student success coaching. Above all, he is passionate about supporting students in getting the most out of their college journey.
In his free time, Nate enjoys reading fantasy novels and discussing them with his wife, being a goofball with his two sons, and painting with watercolor when he can find the time.
