Biography
Having resided for years where higher education was less accessible, either by not honoring past college credits after a time or by charging expensive tuition, coming to Idaho eight years ago felt like a breath of fresh air to our family! CWI’s accessibility, welcoming atmosphere, and quality of instruction opened academic and professional opportunities to us all. Whether educating school groups or the public at Idaho’s busiest historic site, incoming learners at Boise State University, or fostering professional and community connections for students from refugee backgrounds, I discovered within myself the following: a passion for education, love for the region, and determination to work for an organization supporting every individual—and hence the greater community—in reaching their full potential. I am thrilled to be instrumental in facilitating the first steps of incoming learners’ college journey for CWI.
Reading, family and cat time, gardening, and sports stand out as my sweet spots for personal fulfillment!
