Biography
“Hola, my name is Juan Jose Sanchez, and I am a bilingual, bicultural, first-generation Mexicano from Washington state with a passion for helping others.”
Juan earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Washington State University and has spent the past 18 years working with various nonprofit and state agencies within the Treasure Valley. Juan spent the early years of his career working in diverse settings and focusing on early childhood behavioral development within the community and school districts. Juan has also assisted families by providing various community resources and navigating state-funded programs and medical nonprofits. One of Juan’s passion projects has revolved around working with children, specifically at-risk youth through a partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Canyon County. In his spare time Juan enjoys spending time with his family, boxing, traveling, and home remodeling. Juan hopes to continue providing support services in his role as Case Manager at College of Western Idaho.
