Biography
Hunter Reynolds hails from the scenic Black Hills of South Dakota. Just three months after high school graduation, he embarked on a journey with the Air Force, serving from 2009 to 2019 as an F-15E mechanic. During his tenure, Hunter advanced from an assistant dedicated crew chief to a dedicated crew chief, eventually managing his own aircraft. He later took on the role of Cannibalization Dock Manager, showcasing his leadership and technical skills.
Seeking a new challenge, Hunter transitioned to teaching at the Mountain Home AFB Field Training Detachment. From 2019 to 2023, he earned an A.A.S. in Aviation Maintenance Technology and taught Community College of the Air Force accredited classes as an F-15 Maintenance Instructor.
After separating from the military in August 2023, Hunter explored various roles, including working at an auto parts store. However, his passion for higher education and the military community led him to the perfect opportunity at the College of Western Idaho, where he now serves as the Military Student Services Coordinator and Enrollment Counselor.
Outside of work, Hunter enjoys quality time with his wife and two energetic sons. He is an avid NASCAR and Diamondbacks baseball fan and loves tinkering with project cars and engines.
