Brian Mitchell started his CWI journey as a part-time work-study and a full-time student in the fall of 2018. Before Brian's adventure within CWI, he worked as a licensed Cosmetologist and other customer service orientated jobs. His passion for helping people, including those who do not feel like they belong, encouraged Brian to work towards a full-time position within CWI. He strives to help students find their way academically and professionally.
Brian was born in Boise, raised in Kuna, and always seems to find his way back to Idaho after moving away for a while. He is currently working on his AA in Psychology and plans to become a substance abuse counselor with a focus in serving the LGBTQIA+ community. Some of his favorite hobbies include fishing, camping, playing video games with friends, and crocheting the same stitch pattern during the cold winter months.
