Troy Nickel is an adjunct psychology professor at CWI. He received his undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Foundational Studies from Boise State University. He earned his Ph.D. from Walden University and wrote his dissertation on leadership styles and the impact on teacher job satisfaction. From this, his research interests have progressed to social influence in the workplace, social cognition, and habit formation. He currently works in the correctional facility as a substance abuse counselor.
Troy enjoys spending time with his family and dog. He loves to read, golf, exercise, and listen to classical music during his leisure time.
