Dr. Svetlana Nagachevskaya-Maddox is a classical concert pianist. Winner of the numerous international, national, and regional piano competitions in the US, Russia, Romania, and Moldova, Svetlana had the honor to perform in Carnegie Hall in 2009, 2012, and 2013. She has now been invited to be the Guest Artist in Princeton Music-Festivals and perform at Carnegie Hall annually. Dr. Nagachevskaya-Maddox is one of the featured Artists in the Stars of Steinway series in 2014-2015.
Svetlana’s concerts across the US resulted in numerous articles, interviews, and concert reviews that appeared in magazines and newspapers in New York, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Idaho.
Dr. Nagachevskaya-Maddox actively collaborates with Boise State University. She has served on Faculty in 2011; asked to judge several Concerto/Aria Competitions, and has been invited to perform solo recitals, Lecture-Recitals, and chamber music recitals in the Faculty Artists Series. Svetlana currently serves on Faculty at the College of Western Idaho teaching face-to-face and online Music Appreciation classes.
