Susannah Barr is an Instructor for the College of Western Idaho English Department. She is passionate about education and is especially interested in helping students from non-traditional backgrounds succeed in college. Susannah earned a Master’s of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language from Shenandoah University, as well as Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Religious Studies from DePauw University and an Associates of Arts in Arabic Studies from The Defense Language Institute.
Susannah has taught English and ESL for the past eleven years. Prior to that, she was an Arabic linguist for the military. She enjoys traveling with her husband and son, including tackling multi-day bike camping trips.
