Since joining Dual Credit, Shannon has helped facilitate a fast-expanding dual credit program, helping to bring college opportunities to an increasing number of high school students across the state. As CWI’s Assistant Director, Shannon strives to facilitate a seamless transition for high school teachers who desire to join CWI’s team and align their curriculum for dual credit. This includes working with CWI’s faculty liaisons, as well as making sure the curriculum review process meets dual credit accreditation guidelines of the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships.
In Shannon’s spare time, she loves spending time with her husband of 22 years, as well as her children (daughter Morgan, 18 and son Kaden, 15). Shannon also loves kayaking, camping, hiking, fishing, bike riding and camping in the summer months, snowshoeing in the winter, and cooking and sewing year-round.
