Ray Walsh is an ER physician with a bachelor's degree in chemistry and a master's degree in math and science education from Teachers College, Columbia University. He was a teacher trainer for the US Peace Corps in Zimbabwe, and taught high school math/science for 2 years in Kenya with the US Peace Corps, for 2 years in Harlem-New York City through the Peace Corps Fellows Program, and for a year in San Elizario, Texas, on the Mexican border. He holds 9 patents and speaks Swahili and Spanish.
