Monty Hyde teaches general psychology as an adjunct faculty member at the College of Western Idaho. He earned his B.A. in elementary education from Boise State University in 2002. While working as a 4th grade teacher he earned his M.A. in counseling from Boise State University and worked as a middle school and high school counselor. He then went on to earn his Ed. S. in educational leadership and currently works as a middle school assistant principal.
Monty enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two daughters, hanging out in the mountains or on the lake or river. He also loves attending major league baseball games with his family, especially when his Cubs are playing. Go Cubbies! Monty is also an avid golfer, and on most weekends can be found on one of the many golf courses in the valley.
