Megan Ronk was named Economic Development and Innovation Director for Idaho Power in 2018. Before joining Idaho Power, Ronk enjoyed a 16-year career in state government and public policy, most recently serving as the Secretary of Commerce for Idaho Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter. In that role, Ronk led economic development activities for the state, including business attraction, retention and expansion, international trade, tourism and rural development initiatives. She has a degree in Business Administration from The College of Idaho and a Master of Business Administration from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Ronk serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for The College of Idaho, the Board of Directors for Mountain West Bank, as a commissioner for the Idaho Commission on Human Rights, on the Board of Directors for the Boise Valley Economic Partnership, and as an 13-year adjunct faculty member for College of Western Idaho. Ronk has been recognized with the Accomplished Under 40 award and is a three-time winner of the Idaho Women of the Year award.
