Maria has been with CWI since its inception in 2009. She worked in Adult Education in the ESL program for several years and is now in the Workforce Development program as a case manager for Idaho Job Corps. She is passionate about supporting students in their journey to reaching their goals in education and employment.
She has a bachelor's degree in English, with an emphasis in Linguistics and is currently taking classes at Idaho State University in hopes of getting a Masters degree.
In her free time she enjoys being active with her family in the outdoors, watching her daughters play soccer and run track. Her other hobbies include doing sports and nature photography, finding and cooking new recipes (especially vegetarian), reading and traveling to new places.
