Kristin Cook is an instructor in the Mathematics Department. She joined College of Western Idaho in 2012 where she has taught Beginning Algebra, Math in Modern Society, College Algebra and Introductory Statistics. Kristin started her collegiate career at Ricks College which is now BYU-I in Rexburg, Idaho. Back then it was a two-year school so it gave her a great opportunity to get to know the faculty and students. From there she transferred to BYU in Provo, Utah where she earned a B.S. in Statistics. Then she moved to the mid-west and attended Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas where she earned a M.S. in Mathematics/Statistics.
She was born and raised in Utah. Just after a few years of attending college she lived in South Africa, which gave her a wonderful opportunity to learn and love a diverse group of people. She has also lived in Kansas and Colorado.
Kristin and her husband, Curtis, live in Middleton with their four children, Kylie, Logan, Austin and Garrett. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, canning, running, reading and spending time with her family.
