Kayla is the Administrative Assistant for the School of Language and Arts. In 2010, after a 10 year break from school, she decided it was time to continue her education. A year later she began working in the instruction department through the work study program, and in spring of 2013, she became a fulltime employee of CWI in her current role, which involves supporting faculty in three departments: English, Visual and Performing Arts, and Modern Languages.
When Kayla has a free moment, she likes to spend time with her husband of fifteen years and their two children ages 15 and 9. As a family they like to spend time with friends either going camping, watching movies, or sitting around a bonfire in someone’s back yard. Kayla and her husband volunteer their time in church; at the food bank; for a local radio station; and for other benefit organizations including Jordan’s Ride, a bicycle race geared to support families and raise awareness for those who have lost their children to SIDS.
Kayla is currently finishing up her last term at CWI and will graduate in January with an Associate Arts Degree in Liberal Arts.
