Judith Perry completed her initial nursing education 30 years ago, first as a diploma graduate in 1980 and then completing her BSN in 1985. Ms. Perry is a certified public health nurse and has had various community nursing experiences. Additionally, Ms. Perry worked in critical care, operating room and emergency room. Returning to school in 2003, Ms. Perry obtained a master's in nursing with emphasis as a family nurse practitioner. In 2006, Ms. Perry obtained an additional certification as an advanced hospice and palliative nurse practitioner and was in this role up until 2018 when she accepted a position as nursing instructor at College of Western Idaho. Ms. Perry continues to lecture in the community in the area of palliative care.
