Grace Jackson is a Course Designer for the Center for Learning and Teaching. She brings over two decades of experience in the field of education from various learning environments. Her career began as a secondary science and technology applications teacher. Soon she realized she wanted to help all the teachers use technology tools to enhance learning and teaching, so she took a campus instructional technologist's position. She worked for an online educational company as an instructor, which evolved into a leadership position where she supported teachers and administrators learning how to use the learning management system and analytics tools. Her most recent role was that of an instructional designer in the corporate setting.
Grace has a Ph.D. in Educational Technology from Walden University. Her dissertation study focused on the communication that occurs during the learning analytics implementation in a higher education institution. Her Master's degree is in curriculum and instruction with a specialization in instructional technology from Houston Baptist University. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from the University of Utah.
