Erica Compton

Director, Advising

Erica got her start in higher education as a high school graduate as an admission clerk and found she loved the college environment so much she decided to pursue her own education and focus her career within the field.  It’s now been almost two decades in higher ed and her experience encompasses many facets of student services: financial aid, admissions, the Registrar's office, international student services, and academic advising. Erica is extremely passionate about multiculturalism and enjoys working with the refugee community at CWI and within the community. She has an Associates in General Studies from Central Texas College, a Bachelors in Sociology from Troy University and a Masters of Science in International Relations also from Troy.

Erica is a fourth-generation Idahoan but has had the pleasure to live in various parts of the United States.  Idaho will always be her home where the mountains provide camping in the summer and skiing and snowmobiling in the winter. Outside of work, she keeps a very busy schedule with five sons, her husband, and Bubba-dog.
