Bob has served as a technician and leader in the electronics maintenance and information technology fields for nearly two decades. Throughout his career, he has held various positions, ranging from technician to shop foreman. While assigned to Joint Forces Command Naples, he was responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Compact Commanders Office (CCO), a satellite communications module that enabled NATO commanders to deploy anywhere in the world and have access to both NATO unclassified and NATO secret networks within minutes.

Before concluding his military service, he served as an Advanced Individual Training (AIT) electronics instructor. During this time, he was recognized for outstanding achievement as instructor and writer, developing training for a newly introduced variant of the Stryker armored fighting vehicle. Inspired by the connections he forged with students in AIT and their enthusiasm for learning, he decided that after returning to civilian life he would pursue a career in education.

In addition to his technical certifications, he holds an Associate of Arts degree in Studio Art and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Support Specialist.

Outside of work, Bob enjoys woodworking, graphic arts, and hiking with his partner Stefanie and their four-legged children.
