April Nelson is a true native Idahoan that received her Master’s in Deaf Education at Idaho State University and her Bachelor's in Elementary Education at Utah State University. April’s daytime job consist of working with deaf and hard of hearing students in both school and home environments for the Idaho School for the Deaf and the Blind. April is a proud member of the local Deaf Community and has embraced Deaf Culture since she was a small child. April loves restoring her Vintage 1960’s Travel Trailer and towing it around the backwoods of Idaho for camping. April is happily married with 3 children, a dog, 4 chickens and several Koi fishes.
