About:
Amy started her professional career as an American Sign Language interpreter. After obtaining a B.A. degree in Deaf Studies from California State University Northridge in 2013, she began interpreting in the post-secondary education and community settings. After nine years of interpreting, she decided to take a turn in her career path and educational journey. From interpreting, she has transitioned to the Student Disability Services Coordinator role where she will be coordinating services, such as the interpreting service that she used to provide. In addition, Amy is working to obtain a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Development from Idaho State University.

Amy lives in Meridian, Idaho with her husband, two young kids, and yellow lab. She enjoys spending time with her family playing games, camping, hiking, and hanging by the Boise River.
