Alishia Clover is ever grateful for her experiences in her academic journey. She attained an Associate of Arts degree from the College of Western Idaho (CWI), a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boise State University (BSU), and then a Master of Science in Communication from Purdue University. Alishia's dedication and hard work earned her recognition throughout her academic career. She won the Persuasive Speech category in the CWI Communication Rookie Tournament and later joined the Speech and Debate team. She then earned her first Superior in Broadcast Journalism and helped the team win the national title in 2012. A scholarship prompted her to join the BSU Speech and Debate team, where she mentored students and improved content delivery as Platform Captain. Her and her teams' efforts led to a third consecutive national championship for the Talkin Broncos. That year, Alishia achieved a national title (Tournament Champion) in Discussion, Superior in Persuasion, Broadcast Journalism, and Interviewing, and Excellent in Impromptu.

Despite her many achievements, Alishia did not stop there. She earned her Master of Science in Communication while working full-time and maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Through her education, Alishia developed into a successful leader who continues to inspire others to reach their full potential.

Alishia Clover is also an experienced and passionate professional working with various business professionals, faculty members, students, and community members for more than two decades to promote communication and build strong relationships. She currently serves as the Communications Director, overseeing the development and execution of marketing, public relations, advocacy, and member relations initiatives. Along with her professional and educational background, Alishia has volunteered for various organizations and served on several boards. Despite her busy schedule, Alishia always makes time for her family. As her past speech and debate coach and CWI professor, Johnny Rowing, once said, "Go Big or Go Home!" and Alishia lives by those words every day.
