Originally from Texas, Adrian received his baccalaureate and master's degrees in vocal performance from Baylor University. Adrian spent the last 14 years working in higher education in Texas, Indiana, and Idaho at community, public, and private institutions of higher learning. His career and passion have focused on serving special populations, nontraditional students, and diversity-related initiatives. His primary job is postsecondary state leadership and technical assistance for career technical programs for the State of Idaho. Prior to working for the State of Idaho, he served five years at College of Western Idaho as a Manager of Student Services. Adrian enjoys traveling (29 states and 12 countries so far), teaching music classes online at CWI (since 2011), and enjoy the variety of events and natural beauty Boise and Idaho have to offer. Since coming to Idaho in 2007, he has performed with Opera Idaho in various comprimario roles and with their Resident Company. He also performed as a lead soloist with St. Michael’s Cathedral in downtown Boise and was a part of their choral residency in summer 2014 with the Winchester Cathedral in England.
