Abby Wolford is originally from Ohio but earned her B.A. in English and Spanish from Gardner-Webb University in the metropolis of Boiling Springs, NC and her MFA in Creative Writing, Poetry from Boise State University. She is also currently pursuing an MA in literature, again from Boise State, with an emphasis on Middle English and medieval texts. (If you are interested in chatting about dragons and fairies, come and find her). Abby teaches English composition, literature, and poetry writing at CWI. She has been teaching since 2003 all over the Treasure Valley, including CWI, and began teaching full-time for CWI in 2015. She teaches online, hybrid, and in the traditional classroom.
Abby lives in Boise with her partner and several cats. She enjoys reading, writing, gardening, bees, swimming, waterslides, camping, going to the ocean, and playing in the Bighorn Mountains.
