College of Western Idaho (CWI) is excited to announce the next step to introducing a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Business Administration. This development follows the Idaho State Board of Education's approval during their meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 13.
"Offering a BAS degree represents a monumental opportunity for CWI to benefit our students and community," said Gordon Jones, CWI President. "We are not only enhancing educational options but also strengthening our workforce."
The new BAS degree program will be highly affordable and cater to the needs of adult learners, career-technical graduates, and aspiring entrepreneurs.
The college's next step involves requesting approval from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) and the U.S. Department of Education.
