A mask is essential to preventing the spread of COVID-19. This section includes important information about mask requirements and accommodations.

A mask is essential to preventing the spread of COVID-19, regardless of vaccination status. Every person is required to wear a mask that completely covers the nose and mouth while on campus. If you are in your private workspace (office and/or cubicle) and physical distancing of 6 feet cannot be maintained, you must wear a mask.

Please note that your department may have specific guidelines about personal protective equipment. Please contact your manager for information about your department’s SOP.

If you have a medical condition that restricts you from wearing a mask or using PPE, please speak with Human Resources or Student Disability Services before arriving on campus.
