Steps to Renew
You may review, renew, or request changes to your accommodations using the Accessibility Information Management Systems (AIM) system.
- Log in using your CWI username and password.
- To ensure you do not miss important communications from AIM, we encourage you to add post.accessiblelearning.com to your safe sender list and check your junk folder regularly.
- Once logged in, you will see your student dashboard, including important messages to review.
- View a list of your current accommodations by selecting My Eligibility from the left menu under My Accommodations.
- Upon completion of your studies at CWI, this list may be printed to share with another disability services office.
- Classes you are registered for will be listed in your student dashboard.
- Check the box on the right for each class you would like to renew or revise accommodations for.
- Once you have selected your classes, click on Continue to Customize Your Accommodations.
- For each class, check the box on the right for the accommodation(s) you would like to renew.
- Select Submit Your Accommodation Requests to complete your request to Student Disability Services.
Student Disability Services will review your request and, upon approval, a Letter of Accommodations (LOA) will be emailed to your and your instructor(s). This letter may also be referred to in the AIM system as a Faculty Notification Letter.
- Be sure to review information in this letter carefully, in addition to information contained in any accompanying links.
- Once you have reviewed your LOA, discuss your accommodations with your instructor(s).
- Contact your Student Disability Services Coordinator to ask questions or discuss concerns or modifications to your approved accommodations list.
Modifying YOUR LOA
- To request modification of your LOA for a class, select Modify Request next to the course.
- If you modify your accommodation request after the LOA has already been emailed, you will not be able to generate the revised letter without approval from Student Disability Services.
- Approvals typically take one (1) business day to process.
- Student Disability Services will contact you with any questions.
- Check your student email to check the status of your modified LOA.
Saving & Printing Your LOA
- You may download a PDF copy of your LOA by selecting the class from the dropdown menu and clicking Generate PDF.
- Saving and/or printing your LOA is optional as necessary parties will receive the letter via email.
