The CWI Street Team wrapped up June with a weekend full of baseball and BBQ, stopping by multiple events around the Treasure Valley to help spread the word about CWI. Despite temperatures nearing triple digits, the Street Team made stops at the Boise Hawks and Northwest Ribfest to mingle with patrons; handing out cool CWI gear and talking about opportunities at the College.
The evening at Memorial Stadium was full of excitement, which kicked off with CWI College Just Got Real star, Tyler Murphy, throwing out the first pitch. The Hawks would go on to take down the Eugene Emeralds, thanks to a strong fifth inning, in front of a crowd of 3,074! The Street Team helped keep the packed stands cool with CWI fans that were handed out at the gate.
The Street Team wasn’t done there, however, also making a trip to Northwest Ribfest at the Idaho Center Amphitheatre to take in some summer culinary action. The smell of some of the nation’s best BBQ filled the air as the CWI Street Team talked with vendors and visitors about CWI. The team said they received a warm welcome and many people were interested in learning more about the College and how to apply.
