CWI Joins the Hawks For a Night

Published: July 13, 2015

The College of Western Idaho’s President, Bert Glandon, threw the first pitch of the night with the Street Team pitching free gifts to the crowd throughout the night at the Boise Hawks game against Everett’s Aquasox.  The Hawks provided some early excitement but failed to find their winning form in a 7-2 loss to the Everett Aqua Sox. Boise struck first with a two-run homerun by Kevin Padlo in the fourth-inning but was unable to keep the Everett bats quiet through the middle innings. The Aqua Sox would take the lead with a pair runs in the fifth and sixth innings and never looked back

Fans enjoyed the upgraded attractions at the park as an affiliate with the Colorado Rockies while talking to the CWI Street Team about upgrades available through community college.  With a calm breeze and temperatures in the 80s, it was a perfect night to take Upgrade U.O to the park.
