Do I need to know medical terms or have taken a medical terminology course before enrolling in the Medical Coding and Billing Professional program?

Students in the Medical Coding and Billing Professional program will highly benefit from solid experience with medical terminology and anatomy and physiology as the course content covers diagnosis, procedures, and a basic overview of the body systems. As such, it is highly recommended students take a medical terminology class or have this experience prior to enrolling in the program.
