Welcome to Tutoring Services
We’re here to empower students to master course content and succeed in their classes. The tutoring we provide complements classroom instruction in individualized and group sessions to help students achieve their academic goals.
Our support is free to all currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff. Our tutors work with students to help them better understand coursework and prepare for exams. Services include appointments for math, sciences, writing, foreign languages, certified technical programs, and more. We also offer tutor-led study groups and academic skill-building workshops throughout the semester. For more information check out our "About Us" page.
Please come see us early and often to find out what we can do to help reduce stress and encourage you towards success! Contact Tutoring at 208.562.2233, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or follow us on Facebook (CWI Learning Commons).
Many of our tutors are students who were recommended by faculty based on their dedication and high GPA, and because they excel at the subjects they tutor. If you are interested in becoming a tutor, please visit our "Become a Tutor" page. Become a Tutor
Handouts and Resources
Tutoring Services has a wide variety of handouts and other resources available to students. Whether you need a math handout for class or you need help formatting a paper, our handouts are excellent guides! We are currently adding our handouts to this site, so please check back often or reach out to us if the handout you need is not available. View Handouts and Other Resources
Learning Commons Newsletter
We are excited to present the CWI Learning Commons Newsletter! Featuring articles written by our librarians and tutoring staff covering a variety of topics for students, faculty, and staff. The newsletter is currently slated for release twice each semester. We invite you to take a look—if you're at CWI, there's something written here for you!
