Section 1: Name & Membership

I.1.00 This organization shall be known as the Associated Students of College of Western Idaho (ASCWI).

I.1.01 Membership shall consist of all students enrolled in any degree, certificate, or training program with an expected duration of more than 60 calendar days and who are not solely enrolled in designated dual credit courses at College of Western Idaho (CWI). 

Section 2: Structure

I.2.00 The ASCWI government shall consist of a General Council, which shall be composed of the Executive Council and Advisory Council.

I.2.01 The General Council shall serve as the representative governing body of ASCWI and shall include all elected Executive Council officers and appointed Advisory Council members.

I.2.02 Executive authority shall be vested in the President and three Vice Presidents:

I.2.01.01 Vice President of Student Life

I.2.01.02 Vice President of Student Resources

I.2.01.03 Vice President of Records and Finance

I.2.03 Operational and programmatic authority shall be exercised through Council Members and their respective committees. 

I.2.04 The Advisory Council shall consist of Council Members appointed to advance specific functional areas of Events & Programming, Student Services, Online Engagement & Outreach, Club Recognition & Support, and Community Service & Civic Engagement.
