To establish procedures for real property transactions by the College.
To provide standards for college signage.
To provide for the management of the College's capital outlay and construction program.
To provide for the administration of all construction of and improvements to the College's physical facilities.
To establish the scope of the College's commitment to provide a safe and healthy environment for the CWI community.
To establish guidelines regarding the possession, wearing, carrying, transporting, or use of weapons, including firearms.
To provide for the establishment of operational procedures which promote safety and security on premises owned or controlled by the College.
To establish authority in determining the use of space on college property or within college-owned or leased facilities and to provide for effective and efficient utilization of CWI’s space resources.
To provide guidelines regarding energy and water conservation which promote environmental stewardship while striving to achieve a comfortable environment for occupants at the College.
To establish guidelines and procedures for college ground transportation.
To establish authority and process in determining and communicating a campus closure or delay in opening at the College due to natural or human caused emergencies.
To provide guidelines for the use of college facilities and property by faculty, staff, students, the community, and external organizations.
To provide for the protection of college property and assets, information systems, and financial resources.
To establish a policy for office space allocation.
To establish the organizational framework of the College's Emergency Management Program, roles and responsibilities for emergency management and business continuity activities, and provide management and coordination of prevention/mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery activities.
To establish guidelines for implementing measures to prevent, manage, and mitigate the spread of communicable disease affecting the College.
To provide guidance for a safe and efficient response to catastrophic events that affect college faculty, staff, and students and to ensure continuity of operations.
To provide guidelines for the posting of materials and the use of campus bulletin boards.
Provides guidance to maximize the College's in complying with these requirements and to demonstrate its commitment to campus safety and security.
