ABOUT:
Shamika is the Office Administrator for the Human Resources and Communications & Marketing Teams. Although born and raised in Washington, Idaho is home. Her career path in the Treasure Valley began with supporting a local agricultural/commodity manufacturer but she was excited to join the CWI team in April 2022. Her draw to CWI, in part, was due to the impact her local community college had on her. She too had the opportunity to take advantage of a dual-credit program offered her Junior and Senior years in High School. As a result, when the opportunity to support a community-oriented organization presented itself, she was eager to shift gears and join the team. After spending two years supporting the Operations team, she is excited to see how she can continue to grow with CWI in her new role as Office Administrator.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her niece and nephews, fishing, camping, and exploring Idaho with her mini Aussie, taking on DIY projects around her house, and being creative wherever she can. She is also highly involved with her religious affiliation and spends time each week volunteering in her local Nampa community.
