Mr. Duran has been an adjunct instructor at CWI since the fall of 2022. He primarily teaches the Introduction to Public Health and Health Science course. He received his bachelor’s degree from California State University, Bakersfield in Physical Education and Kinesiology and his master’s in Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He has worked in the private and public sectors in a variety of roles that include occupational health and safety, health and wellness, and industrial hygiene.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Makenzie, and their Golden Retriever, Smokey. They enjoy traveling and exploring the state of Idaho and beyond. They were very excited to welcome their first child in April 2023.
