Week of Welcome is a campuswide initiative designed to support students during their first week of classes and help them start the semester strong.
Wayfinding Support
From Aug. 17 through Aug. 19, CWI staff will be stationed at select campus locations to assist students with navigating campus, finding classrooms, and answering common questions related to college life and resources.

Building Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting
Faculty, staff, students, and the community are invited to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the Nampa Campus CapEd Student Success Center (NCSC) on Thursday, Aug. 20. The event celebrates a centralized hub designed to support students from enrollment through graduation.
Join CWI as it celebrates this important milestone and explores a space designed to strengthen student success for years to come. Following the ribbon cutting, attendees are invited to tour the new facility and learn more about the services and resources available to students.

Resource Road Map
Student Engagement will continue the Week of Welcome festivities by hosting the Resource Road Map event in NCSC, immediately following the ribbon cutting on Thursday, Aug. 20.
The interactive event invites students to explore the College's newest building while learning about the many services available to support their success, including One Stop Student Services, Learning Commons, Student Clubs, and more.
Students who visit each resource to collect stamps on their map and complete the route will earn a free meal.

Midweek Study Break
Looking for a chance to relax and recharge? Beginning Aug. 19, the Learning Commons will host Midweek Study Break every Wednesday throughout the fall semester.
Stop by the second floor of NCSC or the Student Commons at Ada County Center Pintail Building (APIN) to unwind, get creative, and connect with fellow students. Bring your own craft or game, or enjoy the supplies provided. Whether you enjoy board games, knitting, paper crafts, or simply want a quiet place to spend your lunch hour, everyone is welcome.
