The event will highlight Drafting Technology, Heavy-Equipment Technology, and Machine Tool Technology.

A group of CWI students and recent graduates also won medals in a school record five events.

CWI Machine Tool Technology students have access to $17,500 in scholarships because of a donation from the Gene Haas Foundation.

The expanded training opportunities will accommodate an additional 90 students in five professional-technical programs.

CWI students earned 27 medals at the event, including 20 gold medals.

The CWI Machine Tool Technology program has received another generous donation from Micro 100 Tool Corporation.

CWI is celebrating an outstanding showing at the 2014 SkillsUSA State Conference where students earned 20 medals overall.
