CHIP Camp is a three-day camp, June 27 – 29, filled with hands-on STEM activities related to semiconductor manufacturing, scientific, and engineering jobs.
College of Western Idaho celebrated National Apprentice Week by hosting Micron Technology, Inc. to showcase possible careers, pathways, education, and preparation for future jobs to students.
Micron Technology, Inc. announced a new $15 billion manufacturing facility in Boise. It is the first new memory fab in the U.S. in 20 years and will create an estimated 17,000 new American jobs. As part of that expansion, Micron has named College of Western Idaho as a core education partner.
