On Sept. 30, the Boise Environmental Education Center will be sponsoring a valley-wide event called “Watershed Watch!”. People of all ages and backgrounds will be gathering at specific sites along the Boise River to become citizen scientists for the day by investigating and celebrating Idaho’s water resources. CWI chemist, Rebecca Flock, will be hosting a site at Martin’s Landing in Parma, Idaho where the Boise and Snake Rivers meet. To join Rebecca, please RSVP to rebeccaflock@cwi.edu.
To learn more about additional “Watershed Watch!” sites including Lucky Peak, downtown Boise, and Caldwell, visit the Watershed Watch’s website or event page on Facebook.
