College of Western Idaho (CWI) is adding a new fall start to the Medical Assistant degree program. This new start allows students the option to begin their future career sooner.
There is growing demand for medical assistants both nationally and in Idaho. The career field is expected to grow 33.1 percent in Idaho between 2015 and 2024. CWI’s Medical Assistant program prepares students to work in this exciting field by providing the opportunity for hands-on career training, access to financial aid (for those who qualify), and credits that transfer to Idaho’s universities.
