Dakota Keiser, a Communication major at the College of Western Idaho (CWI), is published in this month’s IDAHO Magazine. Keiser authored an article detailing Eddie Braun’s historic jump across the Snake River Canyon in September. On being published for the first time, Keiser says, “I just went for it to see what would happen. I was shocked. I feel more proud now that it is actually in print. I got it [IDAHO Magazine] in the mail and was pretty ecstatic.”
Keiser is taking 15 credits this semester. She enjoys volunteering with “Talk Time,” a program through the college’s English as a Second Language department aimed to give non-native English speakers a chance to practice conversational skills. She got involved in Talk Time through her communication and culture course. She is also the Assistant Program Director for the CWI Media Club, covering stories in and around the CWI campus community.
