The College of Western Idaho (CWI) Biology Club, American Kestrel Partnership, and MK Nature Center would like to invite you to participate in an educational and conservation-oriented event on Friday (Feb. 13) from 2-6 p.m. in room 325 of the Nampa Campus Academic Building.
In conjunction with American Kestrel Partnership and MK Nature Center, we will build Kestrel boxes to promote Kestrel population recovery on and near our campus. Our efforts are focused on raising awareness about kestrels and kestrel conservation and to promote science curriculum and student research opportunities at the college.
This event will feature several live bird presentations with an American Kestrel by Assistant Professor Dusty Perkins along with question and answer sessions about Kestrels with a representative from the World Center for Birds of Prey. Please bring your friends and family and we hope to see you there!
