As temperatures in the Treasure Valley spike towards triple digits, the College of Western Idaho (CWI) Risk Management Department would like to remind employees it is important to take precautions to avoid heat-related injuries and illnesses. Stay hydrated, keep cool, and NEVER leave children or pets in vehicles. Risk Management would also like to provide an update that Safety Committee meetings will be held at different CWI campus locations for the 2015-16 academic year. A preliminary schedule will be posted on myCWI under Risk Management and Safety Committee prior to the beginning of the Fall semester. All employees and students, who are available, are welcome to attend the Safety Committee Meetings.
