Inclusive Opportunities

“My parents never had the opportunity to go to college. They raised me to cherish the importance of a good education. They have always used the little money they had to pay tuition for me and my siblings. I chose CWI because I could save money and get the same quality of education. I really, really love it here. I am so happy with my choice.”

Idaho’s community colleges educate nearly half of the state’s undergraduate student population. We are the primary access point to higher education for thousands of historically underrepresented populations, first-generation college students, and those currently in the workforce who lack the credentials and skills needed in the job market. With students ranging in age from 16 to 81, and an average age of 26, CWI is a gateway for students regardless of age, ethnicity, financial or academic status. CWI bridges the gaps for continuous learning opportunities.
